Hello friends, WELCOME!

Thanks for stopping by this page to learn a little more about me! My real name is Kimberly Catherine, but everyone either calls me KC or Dot. I’m in the business of enhancing people’s natural beauty. In saying that, let’s go all the way back to the beginning—

I started my journey when I was in high school. I used to do my hair and makeup for the dances. At the end of my second year of high school, I heard of the Cosmetology program and knew that’s what I wanted to do. I graduated in 2005 and soon after I had my Cosmetology license. I’ve been trained by some of the best hair artists in the business at Mario Tricoci. There I specialized in haircuts and styling. They trained me so well, I decided after a few years to go off on my own, and I have been running the show ever since. You could say that hair was my first love.

But wait there’s more…

Makeup has always been a part of my story too— so much that I decided to go to MakeUp First in Chicago. Here, I learned how to apply makeup in all areas- media, print, theatrical, and airbrush to name a few. I have trained with some of the most influential people that have done makeup, as well as hair, and my training will not stop here. My goal is to always keep learning and growing into new experiences.

In short, the sky is the limit. I can walk into any situation and completely take care of you. Whether on set, for print, wedding day, or just a regular day, I am here to meet your needs— and I aim to please.

 

My mission is to bless you with my artistic edge, knowledge of hair-care/makeup products, & understanding of your needs, so that I can create a look that leaves a feeling of empowerment and confidence.
